Our Heritage

GMI was forged in 1984 under a modest tin roof in Humble, Texas. We began with the simple goal of distributing premium parts to our neighbors. As our quality standards grew, so did the need for domestic manufacturing. An opportunity presented itself, and in 1994, we began machining specialty products in addition to a select range of fittings. Insistent upon quality and integrity— we worked hard to attain our API certification and expanded our range of products and capabilities. We’re now a powerful, streamlined industry player. As we continue to grow, all of our clients still feel like neighbors; some use the doorbell— but most open their browsers. An expert in precision machining, product distribution, and metallurgical testing for domestic and international oilfield and industrial supply companies, GMI Group maintains a home office in Humble, Texas and a second production facility in Broussard, La. As a leader in industrial machining, we’re crafting the quality components that keep our world running.
